HOVER: overlay black bg + post title + excerpt + read more button.

This members-only tutorial provides the steps to customize PHP and CSS of Easy Posts element in Oxygen so that title and read more text appears at the bottom left of the featured image in regular state and on hover, title + excerpt + more text.
The entire image will be set to link to post's permalink.
Step 1
Let's add a small piece of code so we can control the number of words that appears in the excerpt on a case-by-case basis.
Install and activate Code Snippets plugin.
Go to Snippets > Add New.
