SearchWP Supplemental Search Engine in Oxygen

This members-only tutorial provides the steps to set up a supplemental search engine in Oxygen-powered WordPress site using SearchWP and outputting the search results on a separate page.

Step 1

In SearchWP's settings page click Add New button and add your new supplemental engine and configure it to your liking.

In this example, we shall create one for searching just the faq CPT entries.

Note the engine's name.

Step 2

Edit (with Oxygen) the Page/Template in which you would like to add a search form for your supplemental search engine.

This could be placed in the site's homepage or the sitewide header or in this example, FAQ Archive Template.

Add a Code Block inside a Section having:
