Taxonomy Term-specific color coding in Oxygen

This members-only tutorial provides the steps to apply the right border for posts in Oxygen's Repeater with each post's border color being pulled from that post's taxonomy term.

Scenario:

CPT: presentation
Taxonomy: presentation_category
Sample taxonomy terms: Assessment, Wellness, General
Custom field (Color Picker type, using ACF) attached to the presentation categories: color_code

A presentation will have a single presentation category set utmost.

Step 1

Let us define a custom function that returns a part of inline CSS for setting the right border color to color code for the first taxonomy term of the current post.

Install and activate Code Snippets plugin.

Go to Snippets > Add New.
