In this premium tutorial we'll look at how we can use basicScroll to control changes in CSS for dynamic content coming from Easy Posts or Repeaters to create floating elements while scrolling.
This effect can work well on portfolio pages where small animations can help to highlight each portfolio item as the user scrolls past.
Note that in the demo we are using Easy Posts, which can easily be used to pull in data from a portfolio post type, but we could also use a Repeater.
Step 1: Creating the Easy Post Template
First we add an easy post component inside a section and set the query to pull what we need. Then we need to change the easy posts template by going to Easy Post > templates
